چکیده
Longitudinal stent deformation (LSD) is a rare complication but can occur during coronary intervention. We report a case with LSD of the distal edge, documented by an optical coherence tomography investigation and successfully recovered.

Visualization of the improvement of myocardial perfusion after coronary intervention using motorized fractional flow reserve pullback curve
This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility and utility of using motorized pullback of the pressure guidewire to provide a graphic assessment and prediction of the benefits of coronary intervention. Fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements were performed with motorized pullback imaging in 20 patients who underwent successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of the left anterior desce...

OBJECTIVE To determine the prognostic value of fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements after coronary stent implantation including multiple clinical and angiographic parameters collected in one centre. METHODS 119 consecutive patients were enrolled who had a stent implanted with the use of a pressure wire as a guidewire. Patients were followed up for at least six months. Any death, myocard...

متن کاملNormalisation of abnormal coronary fractional flow reserve associated with myocardial bridging using an intracoronary stent.
Although intracoronary stenting procedures have been advocated for the successful treatment of myocardial ischaemia associated with myocardial bridging, the physiological rationale for this approach remains unexplored. The case of a 70 year old man with symptoms of cardiac ischaemia associated with a left anterior descending coronary artery bridge is described, where use of an intracoronary ste...
متن کاملAbnormal coronary flow velocity reserve after coronary artery stenting in patients: role of relative coronary reserve to assess potential mechanisms.
BACKGROUND Absolute coronary flow velocity reserve (CVR) after stenting may remain abnormal as a result of several different mechanisms. Relative CVR (rCVR=CVR(target)/CVR(reference)) theoretically normalizes for global microcirculatory disturbances and facilitates interpretation of abnormal CVR. METHODS AND RESULTS To characterize potential mechanisms of poststent physiology, CVR was measure...
